The tragedy of 1662

A very informative book. It outlines the clash between the English Puritans (reformers) and the established church of England. The former being committed to biblical truth and the believers conscience, the latter guarding the status quo of both church and state. One of many lessons learnt from this book by Lee Gatiss is found in Ecclesiastes 1:9 .....there is nothing new under the sun. When we ignore history it will be to our detriment. For those who enjoy history this book is well worth reading.
